neglect

i've been so busy this week i haven't posted. we're finishing up our 24-7 tonight. i'll post about the week tomorrow...i want to wait until we're done.

work was interesting this week. we moved to the new floor yesterday. they paid us for a full day and we came in at noon for a company lunch, a presentation on the other fam trips that were taken since summer, and to unpack our desks (which didn't happen as the movers were behind schedule). i'm not quite through with training, but we should be taking london and paris tour calls by monday afternoon. i'm really pleased with where they assigned my desk. i'll be sitting by some fun people. mostly i'll be glad to be done with training. it's drug on long enough.

next week my housemates will be in mexico for their honeymoon, with the kids farmed out to stay with school friends. this means i have the house to myself, for which i'm thrilled! my friend laura is staying with me. i guess it's our trial-run for getting an apartment together. we're looking at one next week. it's gorgeous (i saw it on wednesday night) and i know she'll want to live there once she sees it.
