it's nice to have more pictures for my blog. it inspires me to do more blogging, even if the picture is totally unrelated to the post. like this one.

but i have to say that today has got to be the slowest friday ever endured. the phone lines are slower-than-slow and i'm just hangin' out until the boss leaves so i can finish the last two chapters of my book. i could read them with him here, but i feel like i should be looking for things to do. honestly, though, i have and there's nothing...nothing at all.

i get my hair cut on monday. 7am! i'll have to get up at the crack of dawn and stumble ten minutes down the park blocks, but i'm goin' for it. i only get my hair cut about every year-and-a-half, so i tell myself it's worth it to spend a small fortune to get a 'real' cut. last time i had one i forgot to tip. (awkward!) needless to say, i'll be going to a different salon this time.

my big goal this weekend is to get to the seasonal farmer's market in the park blocks. it's been there for three months and i still can't get myself out of bed and presentable on the saturdays i'm home to be there before it closes at 2pm. it's my rejuv-day and i don't want to be rushed. but this weekend i'll make a photographic event of it. oh, and i should also tidy the ol' apartment. lord knows it needs a good dusting. i'll throw in a prayer walk tonight, some swimming on saturday and sunday, church and a load or two of laundry, and we'll have ourselves a pretty darn productive weekend. i'd like to go dancing tonight with my sis too, but i haven't heard from her, so i may put that off a week. after all, the weekend's starting to fill up now, isn't it?
