kinloch rannoch

i'm off to the uk tomorrow, to visit (among other places) the lovely perthsire village of kinloch rannoch at loch rannoch. my mother and i have a lovely deluxe cottage overlooking the water, just a mile or so from the village.

aside from our stint in the highlands, mom and i will be in edinburgh and reading (for my birthday!) and then she'll fly home and i'll pop back up to edinburgh for some time with my peeps there before finishing with a few days in london. it's a wacky itinerary, a bit back and forth, but i'm okay with that.

i'm really excited to see everyone. i'll be meeting a baby we prayed God would create when some of us were there a couple years ago, and connecting with people i adore. i'll also be meeting up with some friends i made on my galapagos cruise in ecuador last september. it's a brother and sister who are also quite fond of photography, and we quite hit it off on the boat. this whole trip is going to be nice and chill...and not just the weather, either.

so i won't be doing any blogging for a while. not that i've been that great at keeping up with it lately anyway. but i'll do what i can, and i'll certainly be blogging when i come home.

Happy Birthday,
Say hello to Edinburgh and the UK for me. I've stayed on Loch Rannoch, at a timeshare up there. I took part in the kids highland games there and won a couple of medals! Have fun
